Micro Photography: Objects & Thāngs

As I’ve said in my article, camera manufactures/photography community use the words Micro and Macro interchangeably. In the article I write a little more in detail about macro filter lenses. Please also check out my new post called “Using Extension Tubes.” Hence forth, it looks like I”ll be using extension tubes for micro photography for now on. I have so much more flexibility using extensions. Again, lots of patience, practice and a steady hand is still required for micro photography, regardless of the tools or method used, but so far I like the tubes so much. Looks like I’ll be ditching my close-up filters. 🙂 Since I am a Nikon shooter, I will refer to my close-ups as Micro. Hopefully I can get a good deal on an actual professional Micro lens one day. Enjoy.
